Series of 4 prints, 105x80cm, 4 flip books 70 pages, 8x14cm, 2022.The faceBOOK project deals with the different ways of representing people.The large format pictures of the series were taken with a pinhole camera. Due to the necessary exposure time of approx. 2 1/2 minutes, the images are out of focus and blurry. A person can be seen - but nothing more precise. At the same time, additional photos were taken every 2 seconds with a digital camera. These show - seen as a flip book - what happened in the 2 1/2 min. The movement of the depicted person is thus captured on paper in two different ways. The same person, in the same setting, at the same time - but you see something completely different.
