For the architectural series, buildings were chosen that don’t stand alone in their function but rather in their form as alone standing builds - quite in opposition to the often-quoted formula „form follows function“.
Because of the lack of neighboring buildings, they seem more monumental. The blurring in the photos intensifies this fact. Details were erased. Just the atmosphere of the building remains. Sometimes one isn’t sure if it is a picture of the real building or one from a model.
