CLEARING

One of my favorite places is a clearing in the immediate vicinity of my apartment. Every now and then I pass by this clearing - take a short break, enjoy the peace, the nature and at the same time ask myself how much nature this actually is.
Is it a clearing created by man? Does it serve a specific purpose - does it have a concrete use for people.
Or has it perhaps come into being naturally? - Again and again one sees small interventions, of humans. On one tree hangs a game camera, on another a salt stone for animals.... Sometimes you hear a thunder - sound findings from the nearby quarry.
Otherwise it is very quiet there - almost a bit eerie.
The two projects 'cloudy' and 'clearing' deal with the possible presence or absence of man or his traces in a natural environment.
