  1. NON SONO A TRIESTE

Series of Fine Art Prints, 2020

When the project 'Non sono a Trieste' was born, I was supposed to be in Trieste. I was wanted to realize the project 'My dream of living in the south', which had been planned for a long time. Explore and experience the city, get to know new people and get away from everyday life in Vienna. Also have a lot of time to work.
As far as the plan came - then everything changed. Due to the corona pandemic, my stay in Trieste was first postponed and then cancelled. One lockdown follows the next and my dream of living in the south remains a dream. But the idea of it and the thoughts of what I would be doing in Trieste have remained. I would take photos, work, go for walks, drink coffee, draw, write, look at exhibitions and possibly also organize an exhibition. In fact, I stayed in Vienna and life here is a lot quieter than usual. Almost all areas of life have closed 'due to Covid19'. And so I do what everyone is doing at the moment - go for a walk and spend a lot more time in my immediate surroundings. Since I live on the outskirts of Vienna, my surroundings are also pretty quiet here.
The project 'Non sono a Trieste' represents a connection between my actual everyday life and the theoretical undertakings in Trieste. At least in my mind I was able to fulfill my residency and dream of Trieste and the south.
